Position Description and Requirements:
This position provides technical support for configuring, installing, and maintaining ethanol plant facilities. This is a "hands on" role. The Maintenance Technicians will also assist Ethanol Plant Operators to ensure continuous operations of the plant. The technicians will work set shifts in addition to having regular “on-call” status for emergency maintenance at the ethanol plant. Must have a desire to learn about bio fuels and strive for continuous improvement.

Position Description and Requirements:
Under the direction of plant supervision, the Maintenance Worker performs duties to repair and maintain machinery, production equipment, building and facilities requiring a broad knowledge of maintenance skills including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, heating, air conditioning, carpentry, and electrical repair.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment to ensure the maximum up-time of production activities.
2. Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties; make repairs or adjustments as needed.
3. Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments to involve dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement of purchased parts.
Education and/Or Experience
This job requires a broad knowledge of mechanical repair and maintenance as may be acquired in a three years formalized program including blueprint reading and interpretation plus up to three years extensive experience in a variety of maintenance trades. The candidate must be proficient in the use of hand tools. Additionally the candidate will have a strong understanding of the use of computers.
Experience with PLC’s, 480v Industrial electric, industrial controls wiring,and welding is highly desirable. Ability to change bearings, troubleshoot equipment conditions is required.
This position is on a rotation schedule of 4 days on 4 days off 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. and may require weekends.
